Kongres Kesatuan Pekerja-pekerja Di Dalam Perkhidmatan Awam (Cuepacs) secara prinsip telah bersetuju untuk membatalkan rancangan memboikot ekoran persetujuan kerajaan menambah baiki kaedah Penilaian Tahap Kecekapan (PTK). Di bawah penambahbaikan yang dipersetujui, kakitangan awam tidak akan dipaksa menduduki peperiksaan, kaedah yang dilaksanakan sejak enam tahun lalu.

"Sebaliknya kami dimaklumkan ada tiga hingga empat pilihan yang bakal diperkenalkan oleh kerajaan," kata Presiden Cuepacs, Omar Osman beliau ketika dihubungi hari ini. Dua opsyen dimaksudkan ialah menghadiri kursus dan temu duga penilaian. Kedua-dua opsyen berkenaan akan mengambil kira pengalaman kakitangan terbabit.

"Unsur peperiksaan akan ada tapi tidak akan ditekankan sebaliknya kakitangan akan diberikan opsyen sama ada penilaian dalam bentuk peperiksaan ataupun bukan peperiksaan. "Kaedah baru ini akan dilaksanakan berdasarkan perbincangan antara agensi dan kakitangan masing-masing," katanya. Jelas beliau, satu pekeliling mengenainya akan dikeluarkan oleh Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) dalam waktu terdekat.

"Amnya Cuepacs bersetuju tetapi pendirian rasmi akan dibuat bulan depan apabila dibincangkan dalam mesyuarat Majlis Kongres Cuepacs dan dengan meneliti pekeliling yang akan dikeluarkan," katanya. Bulan lalu, Cuepacs mengumumkan rancangan untuk memboikot PTK kerana mendakwa peperiksaan itu banyak memberi tekanan kepada anggota sektor awam - THe STaR ONLiNe

We as a Muslim citizens have the obligation of doing this drastic measures so that our next generation will not be doing the same immoral thingy which we as a Muslim will be summoned by Allah S.W.T in the judgement day of the thing that we have done in the past to prevent any of the sinful act from happening. You will be responsible indirectly for that and it is part of the 'Fardhu Kifayah' that all Muslims must oblige. I’m not gonna tell anymore about the Islamic thought to those STUPID and MORON girls despite the fact that they aren't even a Muslim to be guided as much as they aren’t knowing anything about Islam at all. It was just a waste of time by telling them about the Islamic laws.

KEMENTERIAN Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) menggariskan strategi dalam Pelan Strategik Pengajian Tinggi Negara (PSPTN) bagi menambah bilangan penyelidik, saintis dan jurutera (RSE) untuk mencapai masa kritikal kepada nisbah 100 bagi setiap 10,000 tenaga kerja menjelang 2020. Menterinya, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, berkata dasar PSPTN ialah Memperteguh Penyelidikan dan Inovasi, iaitu dalam tempoh Rancangan Malaysia Kelapan (RMK-8), negara ini mempunyai 21 RSE bagi setiap 10,000 tenaga kerja.

“Kerajaan mengambil beberapa langkah bagi mencapai matlamat itu antaranya melaksanakan program ‘MyBrain 15’ untuk meningkatkan bilangan modal insan berkualiti tinggi terutama dalam bidang sains dan teknologi di peringkat ijazah doktor falsafah (PhD), dengan sasaran 100,000 penduduk berkelulusan PhD dalam tempoh 15 tahun akan datang. “Kita meneruskan program Skim Latihan Akademik Bumiputera (SLAB), Skim Latihan Akademik IPTA (SLAI) dan Skim Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan untuk pensyarah politeknik dan kolej komuniti,” katanya di Dewan Rakyat, semalam. #{P/s: Fuhhhh!!! The urgent meeting with sec-def is just a 'drama' that need to be redesigned so that he can even make it clear during his press conference that the LOI that has been given to the Eurocopter was just a 'mistake' and the Ministry of Defence will be revising again according the SOP of an open tender system. It's quite funny to see that on the day that he has announcing the approval of buying the replacement of Nuri's helicopter, with his 'bright smile on his face' and suddenly he felt guilty of approving the LOI and need some urgent briefing against the issue that raise many reasonable doubts by the 'rakyat'. P/s: Well, it's hard to tell exactly due to the fact that it was just a night with him and yet we already have the 'chemistry'....HeHeHe!!! His name is quite strange but indeed funny. His name is 'Nyet'. Everybody call him 'Nyet' which is comes from the name of 'MoNYET'....HaHaHa!!! He wasn't like the other male cats that always wandering and lurking for female, he was kind a shy cat and just sit at the middle of the corner snoozing and relaxing with the peaceful 'kampung' surrounding without confronting anymore with previous hectic life like other typical stray cats. On the 3rd 'Raya', we were headed straight to Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan from Kuala Kangsar, Perak where my father-in-law village were located there. We plan to stay there for one night and we did stay there for a night although I've second thought of staying there a bit longer. But what the heck, everybody has their own businesses and extending another day could spoil the plan. OK!! Now back to the cat. At first glimpse of seeing him, I knew that he was kind a cat that can be smashed, smacked and played with...HeHeHe!!! And that what I did to him...HeHeHe!!! After some dreadful day of being smacked down by me, he's still not fighting back and stood like nothing is happening to him...At night, my wife and I were asked to bed at the 'anjung' and it was quite awkward to sleep at the area that have holes at the lower part of house wall for air circulation. Usually, we just put it at the upper side of the wall, but for the N9 houses, they prefer to put it at the side of the bed so that they no need to have fan to be installed due to the fact that the cool windy air will come through the holes. Anyway, that night, 'Nyet' was searching for a good and cosy night sleep as he was sensing me in front of the house. Unfortunately, he was accidently awaken my wife at 3 am. At that time, I saw my wife was trying to repel him from getting nearer. At first, I thought that it was some crawling creatures etc. and after flashing at the moving object, it was 'Nyet' who immediately gave some cute sounds that wanted to sleep with us...HaHaHa!!! Poor 'Nyet'...Well, eventually he was kicked out by my wife and presumably he has found other cosy places far from human after he realises that he has made others went sleepless...HeHeHe!!!

P/s: I've heard from the news yesterday that DSAI was reiterated his obsession new dateline of taking the federal government to Dec, 8th 2008. Now, he's going to call for a fresh 2009 budget as he's trying yet again to distract the BN's MPs especially from the 'top gun post' from being captured in the 'Ops Lalang 2008'. Although the Home Minister has dismissed the allegation of such an operation similar in the 'Ops Lalang 1987' will not be implemented as if any of the attempts to jeopardize the stability of the Malaysia's political situations; he was just saying that it depends on the police's intel and several other factors before going to activate that operation. I really doubt from what he had said and I'm pretty d#*n sure that the deflectors and some of the opposition's top gun leaders as well are now under the surveillance of the Home Ministry and in the list of being captured and detained under the ISA. If the moves of taking the federal government aren't well planned and organized, it isn't impossible to see the mass politician are being captured yet again without any trial at all and being detained as long as the government itself wants it. But the question is do we still need to have faith on him again this time as he keeps on promising empty promises as the date came across? We've heard 3 times (16 Sept-1 Oct-13 Oct) of the promises from the DSAI about taking the federal government within that period and yet none of those dates appear to be so-called 'the new dawn of a new government'.

P/s: Mmmm!!! For the past 2 weeks, I have seen this banner clearly along Kajang-Silk Highway toward Kajang near the Putrajaya J.W. Marriot Hotel which stated: "Demi negara, Pak Lah wajib berhenti daripada PM dan Presiden UMNO". That was some kind of 'backstabbing remarks' illustrated and represented by the UMNO members. Which UMNO branch did it??? I didn't really know the details but it just has the UMNO logo and anonymously saying and asking Paklah to quit from being as a PM and UMNO's President. For me, it was a clear message from the grassroots that he needs to reconsider his position as a PM and UMNO's President so that the imaginary and credibility of the UMNO legacy can be retained and redefined effectively as its struggling to rebound back from its major losses recently. Yesterday news about his future plan of resigning in 5 months time actually didn't give any direct effects to everyone else especially from the UMNO's members. They've waited for so long and they were so 'tired' for waiting his premonition to get the right time to resign. I don't really think he has decided to resign firmly without a 'fight'. Although, he has been announcing not to contest for the presidency position, it doesn't mean that he has lost his 'grip' entirely. After all, he still has the power to do what he thinks best for him, his 'menantu', families and cronies as well right??? Maybe this is the right time to settle down the anger amongst majority of the UMNO's members which has prolonged the political and economical instability recently. As long as his 'menantu' is around and 'lingering' around his neck 24/7, anything could be happened in the blink of an eye. For instance, the quick and fast decision of buying the new replacement model of the NURI helicopter has been done recently and guess who did the plan and decided to start opening the tender??? Pak Lahh Lahhhh!!! If I'm not mistaken, immediately 3 days after being appointed by himself as a Defence Minister, he has ordered for purchasing a new and sophisticated machines worth of billion of ringgit to replace the so-called 'the flying death machines'. I'm really amazed with the fast moves by him and despite the facts that his 'slowerness decision making' and since the last NURI's crash incident which happens at the Genting Sempah as well, none of the officials has ordered to facilitate for scrapping the copper ASAP until Dolah took over the ministry recently and decided to scrap it fast. 'Masyuk lagi laaa komisyen jawabnye!!!!'...What a coincidence??? Sighhh!!!!!

P/s: HaHaHa!! This is the weirdiest transition plan I've ever heard. Just days after being 'strucked and smashed' by five members of the UMNO's Supreme Council, he who was the one and only Malaysia's Prime Minister with the tongue-twisted remarks has made his flip-flop statement again regarding on his resignation plan to Najib. Now, he has asked to agree with his current plan which clearly hasn't been discussed thoroughly with the other committee members, to postpone the divisional and party election to March, 2009 and will decided afterwards on whether to transfer the power to Najib earlier than March, 2009 or else. Clearly that it wasn't the Supreme Council to decide the matters at its best interest but the 'Supreme of Dolah's Family' rules the outcome of the decision making matters. All Hail Dolah and Khairy!!!! :P

#UPDATE FROM THE STAR ONLINE: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will make a decision on whether he will defend the Umno presidency before the party's divisional level elections begin on Oct 9. The Umno president and Prime Minister said this after charing a special party supreme council meeting at PWTC here Friday morning.

Abdullah also announced that the party's general assembly has been postponed to March next year. However, he said that the Umno divisional elections would go on as scheduled from Oct 9 to Nov 9. The Umno general assembly was earlier slated for Dec 16 to 20. He said the postponement was to facilitate an "early power transition" from him to his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The original transition plan, which was announced in July, would have seen Najib take over from Abdullah by June 2010. To a question on whether this meant that he would not be seeking re-election to the Umno presidency, Abdullah said: "I have not decided yet. I will make a decision before the (Umno) divisional elections (from Oct 9 to Nov 9)." Abdullah also said the special meeting went on well and he was not pressured by any of the supreme council members to quit.

Friday’s meeting by the 25-member Umno supreme council was the latest in a fast-moving chain of events in Umno politics since the fasting month began. After last week’s supreme council meeting, several state Umno chiefs were said to have convened at Abdullah’s official residence for a meeting during which they urged Abdullah to get a firmer commitment from Najib regarding the coming party elections. Some of them were concerned that Najib had, on the one hand, expressed support for the transition plan but on the other, had said he would leave the final decision to delegates attending the Umno division meetings next month.

The meeting took place between 1am and 3am on Tuesday. That same evening, Abdullah and Najib had a four-eyed meeting. On Wednesday afternoon, Najib chaired a hastily convened Umno management committee meeting, presumably to brief them and get a consensus on what had transpired between him and the Prime Minister. The management committee, chaired by Najib, comprises key Umno leaders including vice-presidents, secretary-general, treasurer, information chief and leaders of the Wanita, Youth and Puteri wings. Members of the committee have been extremely tight-lipped about the meeting following Najib’s stern warning on confidentiality.

On Thursday morning, another four-eyed meeting took place between Abdullah and Najib. It is understood that the meeting was to convey what transpired among the management committee members. It was Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who lit the spark when he urged Abdullah to consider an earlier exit plan. That spark became a flame when Najib announced he would let the division meetings decide on the transition of power. His statement was widely read as an indication that he would be open to being nominated for the top party post. However, he has also repeatedly stressed that he is opposed to a “takeover of power” and was looking instead at a “handover of power”.

This is the time to proof to all Malaysian that you're still in power and have what it takes to dismiss all claims made by the DSAI that he has the numbers of deflector to form the new formidable government. Don't just gives a lot of excuses and for the sake of Malaysian people, for this time only PLEASE don't ever listen to your 'beloved menantu' whispers. He only makes your 'season minded' becoming much weaker and worse each days (although he has already influentially makes his moves efficiently). I can't stop thinking that when someone at the edge of his/her fallen (applicable for someone that have 'power' e.g.: politician/top administrator), it is quite an obvious situation as a human being that he/she feels hard to let 'it' go although he/she knows that he/she can't make it quite far enough to make a U-turn or to turn back time around for an urgent 'repairing works'. In fact, 'in the state of denial' is the right term for this kind of leader who seems to me sooo damn 'hard-headed' to release the temptation of being a powerful leader (For god sake don’t ever be like a Mugabe). As I watch to his remarks today early nightline news, he solely wants to make a standoff that he's the only one that could decide whether to leave early or to stick to previous plan which is 2010. Sooo damn arrogant I might say!!! But, the grassroots and the other UMNO's senior supreme council demanded him to step down as early as Oct, 9 2008. It makes me feel 'disgusting' of looking all of them especially the UMNO's Supreme Council which didn't have any guts to voice out their disagreement about the transition plan. Dare to voice in front of the media (in the way of showing their mindful thought) but scare to death when it comes to eyes contact..Sighhh!!!

MALAYSIAKINI ONLINE: Beberapa ahli Majlis Tertinggi (MT) Umno telah mendesak Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi supaya jangan bertanding jawatan presiden Disember ini. Mereka membuat desakan tersebut dalam mesyuarat Majlis Tertinggi (MT) semalam, kerana bimbangkan Abdullah tidak akan mendapatkan pencalonan yang mencukupi untuk mempertahankan jawatan presiden.

Ini bermakna, Abdullah perlu meletakkan jawatan perdana menteri lebih awal daripada 2010. Difahamkan, mereka mahu Abdullah meletak jawatan sebelum 9 Oktober ini - tarikh bermulanya mesyuarat bahagian yang akan berlangsung selama sebulan sehingga 9 November. Seramai 193 bahagian Umno akan membuat pencalonan bagi jawatan presiden, timbalan presiden, naib presiden serta kerusi MT untuk bertanding dalam pemilihan parti Disember depan. Abdullah memerlukan 30 peratus atau 58 pencalonan dari bahagian untuk layak bertanding jawatan presiden.

Sebelum ini beliau memegang jawatan presiden tanpa bertanding. Menurut sumber-sumber yang layak dipercayai, desakan tersebut dibuat oleh sekurang-kurang tiga ahli MT ketika bercakap mengenai pergolakan dalam Umno sekarang. Manakala dua lagi ahli MT difahamkan telah meminta Abdullah meletak jawatan selewat-lewatnya semasa perhimpunan agung tersebut.

Difahamkan ahli-ahli MT yang lain juga mahu menyuara pandangan mereka tetapi Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak mencelah dan berkata beliau akan membincangkan perkara tersebut dengan Abdullah. P/s: How did he manage to get the fund as much as US$1 trillion? American’s funder?? Jews?? I really doubt it. Now, we have the missing jigsaw puzzles to be put into its places. The point is, I've figure out just now the reason why he went there (Indonesia) for couple of days for an urgent meeting with some of his prominent colleagues. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, based on the credible source of news I got, he went to the USS carrier (docking at the unknown location of the coastal region of Indonesia) for a special 'meeting' with the Indonesia's President as well for acquiring some sort of 'huge amount' of money from the respective renowned international bank (the name of the bank can't be disclosed). If everything goes well-planned, the money will be transferred into Bank Negara's special account once the consent from all 'Raja-Raja Melayu Nusantara' have been achieved successfully including from the 'Kesultanan Sulu and Brunei'. Where do you think they get all this wealth??? GOLD!!!!! Yes, they've huge reserved of gold in that particular bank waiting to be used and dissolved for the sake of our country future development and generation as well. 'Daulat Tuanku'!!!!

THE STAR ONLINE: Today Pakatan Rakyat leaders have submitted a letter to the Prime Minister requesting him to call an emergency session of Parliament to deliberate a motion of censure against the leadership of YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi no later than Tuesday 23 September 2008.

This is in accordance with Order 11(3) of the Standing Orders of Parliament and warrants an immediate response given the gravity of today’s political impasse. A delay in his response would be interpreted as nothing short of a further sabotage of the democratic process and abuse of Executive Power.

The Prime Minister’s haggling on the syntax of our first letter is puerile at best. The intent of our meeting as described in that letter was clearly to discuss the future course of the nation’s leadership - though in deference to his position and in accordance with acceptable norms we remain considerate and polite in our approach. I find the Prime Minister’s comment about me in his press conference yesterday to be reckless and irresponsible in light of the disastrous outcome of last Friday’s ISA raids.

He has conflated what is essentially an issue of democracy, freedom and the rule of law with national security. The use of the ISA to harass and detain duly elected political opponents is a grave transgression of the law and its continued use would further erode confidence in the current government and exacerbate political instability. As the incumbent Prime Minister actively holding office and exercising all Executive powers, and as the outgoing Finance Minister, we hold him fully accountable for the current political turmoil and mismanagement of the nation’s economy. His accusation that I have had an adverse impact on the nation’s economy is entirely without basis.

I have met with the key fund managers in the region, representing over US$1 trillion in assets, and on multiple occasions they were unanimously in support of comprehensive reforms in Malaysia including judicial independence, a free media, a more professional police force and anti-corruption agency, investor friendly laws and assurances on the non-interference of politicians in the governance of Bank Negara. These are policies Pakatan Rakyat has promised to implement-and initiatives that the current administration has done virtually nothing to advance since March 8th.

Post-16th Sept 2008 (2nd) Press Conference: P/s: Anwar is planning to have another press conference today at 2.00 pm which will be held at the PKR's hq. This is the second time he is calling for the press conference and I'm really started to get sick of what he's doing right now. Presumably, this press conference is to counter the remarks made by PM yesterday that Anwar was a threat to the nation security and possibly to be arrested under the ISA (Although, Dolah didn't mention the next action to be taken against him, I'm pretty sure that he will use all sort of power that he has to be one step ahead from Anwar and not to forget by also using the help of his beloved 'menantu'). However, I do hope he will be going to unveil something special that could 'rock and tremor' Putrajaya by the end of his press conference. Everybody is looking and assessing from what you've ambitiously announced for the last 4 months. Looking at his blog just now, moderator of the blog is still using the same problematic live-telecast provider (Justin-tv) and for that reason I'm not gonna waste my time once more and in fact I will just wait for the latest news either through the Malaysiakini or The Star online.

#UPDATE FROM THE STAR ONLINE: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim claims he sent a letter to the Prime Minister on Thursday requesting him to call an emergency Parliament session no later that Sept 23 to deliberate on a vote of no-confidence against Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s leadership. The letter was jointly signed by him as PKR leader, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang and DAP parliament leader Lim Kit Siang, he said at a press conference at the PKR headquarters here Thursday afternoon.

“We will convene an emergency meeting if there is no response from the Prime Minister. “And we won’t reveal the 31 names (of the MPs crossing over) unless the Prime Minister categorically assures that MPs are given their chance to appear (in Parliament) next Tuesday (Sept 23) to give their vote in the motion of ‘no-confidence’ against the PM,” he added.

Anwar also told reporters that he has been in touch with SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee. The Sabah party announced on Wednesday that it was pulling out of Barisan Nasional but would not be joining Pakatan rakyat. Yong had said SAPP would remain independent in the Opposition bench until a time came when the party was ready to be back in the Government. On Tuesday, Anwar claimed that he had enough lawmakers to form a new government but has officially delayed the takeover deadline.

He said he was prepared to delay the deadline in the interest of a smooth transition of power. He was also ready to show Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi the list of Barisan Nasional MPs defecting over to Pakatan Rakyat should Abdullah grant him a meeting. “The numbers are increasing by the hour, but as of now, it is in excess of 31 MPs, This is not empty talk. I am fully responsible for my statement but we have choose to be patient and use the conciliatory way,” Anwar told a packed press conference at the PKR headquarters.

The Opposition Leader said he would even give Abdullah the list of names of Barisan MPs wanting to defect at their meeting. “I am appealing in the name of political stability and smooth transition. THE STAR ONLINE: Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has claimed that more than 31 Barisan MPs have agreed to cross over to Pakatan Rakyat. P/s: Quite right actually and I do really agree with the Chairman of the Masjid Kinrara. At the first place you've been given the layout a.k.a blueprint of the housing development at that particular area and it has been designated by the developer that it will be built a 'Masjid' at the Seksyen 5, Kinrara. I bet all of you've already know about that and it isn't just a 'surau' which maybe doesn't bothered your peaceful life, it's a 'Masjid' which carry out a lot of activities within the designated area inside the 'Masjid' and most importantly without making any road block and etc. that could trigger unhappiness to other residents. We as a 'Muslim' people always in a such way of tolerating with the other religious activities although sometimes it reaches up to the uneasiness level of life. For instance, if you noticed at the entrance of Jalan Bangau and Taman Tenaga, Puchong (there is a Petronas at the right hand side and a new completed apartment as well), up at the hill through the entrance, there is a Hindu temple which always every night making noises and loud bagging sound for the whole night until 12am. However, we as a 'Muslim' majority who are staying at that area feel that maybe it has to do with their important religious activities in fact we have been asked to be patient and calm with the situation and learn how to deal with it as it is part of our multi-religious country which respect each other’s religious activities. The point is, when we respect other religious activities to a certain extent, we do hope that it bounces back to us as we did. Life will be easier if you learn from the other racial's religion and culture by not being a 'selfish' community. I don't wanna offense others religious, I do seek an apology if my remarks sounded quite harsh but what I wanna clarify here is that it's just only an hour or maybe less of 'ceramah agama' with only voices as compared to the other religious which most of them probably use a lot of instruments and percussions that could really make your life totally miserable. If we as a Taman Tenaga resident can successfully managed to learn from the noises etc., we expect all of you to be considerate and start to consider and try to look down to other community that optimistically can learn and embrace with the situation in a civilise ways. So, I'd like to ask all 189 residents of Seksyen 5, Kinrara; if we put a Hindu temple there instead of the 'Masjid', which one do you prefer most? You already have the answer right? I bet with all my ridiculous salary that all of you won't even stand for more than 30 minutes. So, be considerate and please respect other religious activities as we respect yours...

DENGUE fever is a fever that is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito, the vector that transmits the dengue virus. Dengue is spread from one person to another through the bite of this mosquito which occurs in the day time. Dengue fever often occurs in areas where the virus is prevalent and the mosquitoes breed. The fever usually lasts three to seven days and in the course of it, red rashes may appear. Dengue fever is dangerous because the patient can bleed and become weak very quickly.

(1) Symptoms of dengue:
*Fever lasting more than three days.
*Skin appears reddish with islands of white.
*Abdominal pain, headache and joint pains.
*Vomiting blood or blood noticed when brushing teeth.
*Body feels cold, and can be accompanied by onset of erratic behaviour.
*Decreased urination.

(2) What parents can do:
*Give the right dosage of paracetamol to control the fever.
*Encourage your child to drink more water/fluids.
*Check your child for red rashes or red spots (face and body).
*Prevent further mosquito bites by using mosquito nets and ensure that no water is collected in receptacles (such as vases, flower pot holders, etc) around the home as these act as breeding grounds for the Aedes agypti mosquito.

(3) Refer to a doctor immediately when:
*Fever is prolonged.
*Appearance of red rashes around the face and body.
*Dengue cases have been reported in your residential area.
*If you suspect and are worried that your child may have contracted dengue fever.

Patients with dengue haemorrhagic fever need to have intravenous fluid infused. Bleeding may only occur in a minority of dengue patients. Most dengue patients have fever only and do not present with bleeding. However, both parents and doctors have to be vigilant and look for signs of bleeding or impending shock.

P/s: Just got back from Solat Jumaat. I was quite shocked to see the news that RPK has been detained today. Just a few days before that, government has revoked and reinstated the banned blogs and websites and suddenly they arrested the most prominent blogger an hour ago. It happens again today with the man behind the capture-order none other than the Dolah's 'cakap-tak-serupa bikin' and I bet he's the one that responsible of ordering the arrest. THE STAR ONLINE: Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamaruddin was arrested Friday afternoon under the Internal Security Act. Three Malaysian newspapers - Sin Chew Daily, The Sun, and Suara Keadilan - were also issued show cause letters by the Home Ministry. Raja Petra’s arrest comes a day after the Cabinet ordered the Multimedia and Communications Commission (MCMC) to reinstate access to all blocked websites, including the controversial Malaysia Today. Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said on Thursday the order was made because there were other “harsher” laws in the country, under which authorities could take action against the owners of blogs and websites, instead of blocking it.

“The Cabinet has asked the ministry to direct MCMC to reinstate access to any blocked website with immediate effect. “At the same time, it is asking MCMC to closely cooperate with the police, the Attorney-General’s Office and the Home Minister to monitor any website or blog to ensure that this does not contain seditious, racist or religiously insensitive remarks. “Instead of blocking access to offensive websites, the Cabinet wants authorities to investigate and act quickly against the owners of these sites,” he said in Putrajaya.

P/s: Kudos to PR for your willingness of having a fresh, democratic and ethical ways of forming the new government. I really salute all the efforts that they have done and decided and hope that the future to come of newly PR's government will be more robust, transparent and 'mesra rakyat'. Although we aren't gonna see a new government on Sept, 16, at least we have given them some sort of terrifying 'wake-up calls' or shockwaves to all BN's MPs so that they aren't in the 'honeymoon mood' anymore all the time as it was always be before this. The GE 2008 has shown us that how arrogant they were of having power for nearly 50 years of undisputed conquering and winning it. In fact, I bet that they were damn too confident of winning the heart of 'rakyat' all the time by giving 'rubber candy' that easy to chew but hard to swallow. It's not a big deal if the Sept, 16 isn't the right time to acquire the Putrajaya. It doesn't have to be only on the Sept, 16. Any date could be meaningful to us as long as the new government could be formed and the call for fresh election for cleansing purposes as well.

THE STAR ONLINE: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s targeted date of Sept 16 to capture the Government may not be achieved due to anticipated problems delaying the transition of power. “After discussing with PAS and DAP, the date can be postponed even though our target was Sept 16 previously. “However, I believe the present Government will find it difficult to quell the uproar of the rakyat,” Anwar said during his speech after a solat tawarikh and hajat ceremony at his home here last night.

The Pakatan Rakyat leader had initially proclaimed that his takeover would happen on Sept 16. He added that detailed discussions would be held with Pakatan component parties PKR, PAS and DAP to study any possible consequences. “The meeting on Pakatan’s preparations for Sept 16 will be held tomorrow evening or the following day,” Anwar said, adding that he had to follow court proceedings before that.

“We definitely have sufficient numbers (of MPs) but we would have to wait first as they are currently ‘enjoying Ramadan’ in Taiwan,” said Anwar sarcastically. He said he had information that the MPs, who went on the Taiwan trip were not allowed to return before Sept 16 in order to thwart the Pakatan takeover.

#UPDATE ON THE ANWAR'S TRIAL (THE STAR ONLINE): The Kuala Lumpur sessions court on Wednesday postponed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy case to Sept 24 to allow the prosecution and defence time to prepare arguments on transferring the case to the High Court. The prosecution had applied for the case to be transferred to the high court. Anwar's lawyers objected to the transfer. Earlier Wednesday, there was heavy police presence outside the Jalan Duta court complex here in anticipation of the expected crowd. Several truckloads of FRU personnel were deployed in addition to armed uniformed policemen.

Anwar arrived at the court complex at 9.30am in a black Mazda MPV. He was accompanied by his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, daughter and lawyer Sankara Nair. Speaking to reporters, Anwar said: "I'm not sure what will happen in court today. I hope bail would not be withheld. There is no basis for the charge in the first place so why talk about the bail?" His lawyer Sankara said: "If the DPP wants to deny Anwar bail, they'll have to apply and we will respond. The same goes for transferring the case to another court."

Commenting on the Sept 16 deadline for the opposition to form a new government, Anwar said, "Is Sept 16 on track? Very much so. We will comment on that issue in the next one or two days. Next trip, Taipei!" The PKR adviser was charged on Aug 7 with sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan. He pleaded not guilty. He is accused of committing the offence at Desa Damansara Condominium in Jalan Setiakasih, Bukit Damansara, between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26. If convicted, he can be jailed up to 20 years and whipped for voluntarily committing unnatural sex under Section 377B of the Penal Code.

I really couldn't accept the fact that he wasn't the so called 'specialist in sodomy examination'. Dalam wawancara eksklusif dengan Malaysiakini semalam, doktor berketurunan Burma itu berkata prosedur yang dikenali sebagai 'per-rectal examination' adalah 'wajib' diketahui setiap doktor.

"Setiap doktor tahu bagaimana melakukannya, itu adalah amalan biasa (seseorang itu) tidak perlu menjadi pakar untuk melakukan pemeriksaan tersebut," katanya ketika menjelaskan bagaimana pemeriksaan itu dilakukan. Dr. Osman muncul semalam selepas 'hilang' selama lebih sebulan sejak laporan perubatannya, yang memutuskan bahawa Saiful tidak diliwat, telah dibocorkan kepada pihak media. P/s: The petroleum crude oil (PCO) price is now remains around USD109/barrel. Today, Dolah Badawi said that he will be revising the fuel prices soon by decreasing 15 cents per liter from the current prices. I wish to ask Dolah, how do you calculate the fuel prices and decided choose the 15 cents/liter decrement? Do correct me if I'm wrong, the global PCO price before the massive increment in June, 2008 was around USD120/barrel (do refer to the graph above) and our fuel prices that day were RM1.92/liter and RM1.54/liter for RON97 and Premium Diesel respectively. Until the PCO price had gone up around USD160, they've to increase the fuel price up to RM2.70/liter due to the fact that they couldn't stand any burden of the global steep PCO price (although the reasons of the incremental remain unknown). Since the PCO price now (to date: 04 Sept 2008) remains around USD109/barrel, the government should be revising the fuel price by choosing to the earlier prices which is before the massive incremental (RM1.92/liter) in fact it could be lowered than the fuel price of RM1.92/liter. It's just a simple maths to proportionate the current prices to the previous prices. Don't you all agree with me that we can get much more decrement as compared to the fuel price of RM1.92/liter? I was quite damn frustrated with Dolah's comment that he could gives us just only 15 cents/liter lesser than the current fuel prices. How on earth they've cheated us by manipulating prices and in fact we should be getting much more decrement instead of just getting insignificant amount of 15 cents/liter as regards to the current PCO price.

BERITA HARIAN: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi berkata harga runcit petrol dan diesel mungkin diturunkan 15 sen lagi jika trend harga minyak mentah dunia terus menurun sehingga akhir tahun ini. Perdana Menteri berkata, kerajaan tiada masalah untuk menurunkan harga bahan api jika minyak mentah dunia yang di paras AS$109 setong sekarang terus turun. Beliau yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata demikian selepas mempengerusikan Mesyuarat Kewangan Negara di sini, hari ini.

#UPDATE FROM MALAYSIAKINI: OIC!!!...This is his face after all. Hidding in places and now he's back with 'vengeance'. Quite a descent man indeed. Everbody was extremely eager to see the face of a man that 'rocks' the Malaysia's political scenario in a blink of an eyes through his 'smashing and brave' Saiful's medical report and SD as well. I do really wish that his 1st appearance in the most anticipated press conference from him will be aired tonight in our local prime time news especially in Buletin Utama TV3...

P/s: At last, he's coming back and reveals his story to the public. Hopefully that he'll stand as long as he can on his own statement as stated in the SD. Many factors came across in my mind just now that he has the tendency of retracting his SD like Bala such as family safety, saction from working, lost of Malaysian citizenship and etc. But unlike Bala, he seems to have strong guts to fight any kind of intimidations to tamper the medical report. Go Dr. Osman for your well and excellent credibility as a medical praticioner. Wish you luck and good in safety as well.

Dr. Mohd Osman Abdul Hamid dari Hospital Pusrawi yang memeriksa Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, muncul hari ini untuk mempertahankan hasil pemeriksaannya yang tidak menemui sebarang bukti yang menunjukkan Mohd Saiful telah diliwat. Dr. Osman telah mengambil cuti lebih sebulan lalu selepas kebocoran laporan perubatannya ke atas Saiful itu, pada 28 Julai lalu.

Doktor tersebut, yang ditemani peguamnya - M Puravelan dan Yusri Kamaruddin - mengadakan sidang akhbar di Majlis Peguam pada jam 12 tengahari ini. Beliau mengesahkan bahawa akuan berkanunnya, yang disiarkan oleh Malaysia-Today memang ditandatanganinya. "Saya tidak terbabit dalam politik, saya sentiasa bercakap benar," kata Dr. Osman yang kelihatan agak gementar.

Dalam akuan bersumpahnya, Dr. Osman mempertahankan laporan perubatannya itu di mana beliau tidak menemui sebarang kesan liwat selepas memeriksa dubur Saiful. Saiful telah mendakwa dia telah diliwat oleh Penasihat PKR, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim pada 26 Jun lalu. Anwar kemudiannya didakwa di mahkamah atas tuduhan tersebut beberapa minggu kemudiannya. Dr. Osman berkata, beliau mengadakan sidang akhbar hari ini untuk membersihkan namanya.

Beliau yang membaca kenyataannya berkata, beliau mengambil cuti kerana beliau merasa tertekan ekoran siasatan polis terhadap pemeriksaan perubatannya ke atas Saiful. Dr. Osman juga berkata, beliau tidak tahu bagaimana laporan perubatannya ke atas Saiful diketahui umum. Ditanya sama ada beliau masih lagi berkhidmat dengan Pusrawi, Dr. Osman berkata, beliau akan kembali bertugas secepat mungkin. Dr. Osman juga menafikan dakwaan bahawa beliau bimbang terhadap keselamatan dirinya.

#REPORTS FROM THE STAR ONLINE: The doctor who examined Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan after the latter had lodged a police report alleging he had been sodomised by Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has resurfaced to “set the record straight.” Pusrawi Hospital’s Dr. Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid, reaffirmed statements he had made in a statutory declaration he had filed on June 28, saying that he had found no evidence of sodomy in his examination.

His statutory declaration was leaked to Malaysia Today and published in the news portal on July 28, after which the Myanmar national took one month’s leave from the hospital and apparently fled the country. At a press conference at the Bar Council auditorium here on Thursday, Osman said he wanted to set the record straight and end media speculation. He reaffirmed the contents of the statutory declaration.

Osman said he went on leave as he came under pressure following a police investigation into his medical check-up on Saiful, but dismissed claims that he was worried for his safety. He also said that he did not know how his medical report, protected by patient-doctor confidentiality, became public. Anwar, now MP of Permatang Pauh, has been charged with the offence. He has denied the allegations, claiming it was part of a political conspiracy against him. Pusrawi earlier said it had sacked Dr. Osman for failing to turn up for work after his one-month leave had expired. When asked if he was still employed, Dr. Osman merely said he "was going back to work."
